Fashion Realities

The enchanted cycle of nature

published 12.05.2024

As mother nature travels through the seasons, making flowers blossom and temperatures rise, we perceive a sensation of abundant beauty. Each season possess this allurement with distinct characteristics making us feel connected to the elements of water, air, earth and fire.

My recent editorial recognizes these emotions and turns them into performative art in the realm of fashion. An ethereal scenery experienced by fully submerging oneself in nature.

Spring

While our surroundings heal from the glacial wilderness of winter, we dive into a season full of flowers, warmth and birds singing natures hymns. To capture this captivating glamor the image of a fairy seems most suitable. The magical powers originating from gemstones, herbs and the energy of sunlight.

Summer

Bejeweled in pearls deep from the sea and attired in airy whites and aquatic blues summer seems to be the season we connect to the element of water. An era of exploring, taking time for oneself and being immersed in the spell of an oasis. The perfect stage to feel your inner iridescence come to life.

Autumn

The phenomenon of change, with leaves gradually turning all shades of brown and descending back to earth. Autumn means a gravitation towards a certain wilderness and the diminishment of warmth. We tend to feel comfort in the mellowness of affection. This epoch of change leads us to an adaption towards the roots of our environment.

Winter

Darkness, an icy climate, and the desperate need to feel alive again. The isolation from the sun takes a toll on our mind, leaving us feeling lonesome and wanting the clocks to tick faster. Almost like falling into a hole, winter brings a certain muteness to life. Not only do our surroundings darken with infinite nights, but the brain suffers from an enduring feeling of misery and melancholy.
